Colton Stolle is a dedicated engineer who possesses a unique ability to solve complex problems. After spending two years at Texas A&M - Corpus Christi, Mr. Stolle transferred and finished his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M in College Station. Mr. Stolle led the Testing Team of the Texas A&M Formula SAE IC team in the 2022 season. Mr. Stolle is a Project Engineer at J. Eftekhar and Associates assisting testifying experts with site and vehicle inspections, report graphics, reconstruction analysis, and computer simulations. Mr. Stolle is also a Remote Pilot for Unmanned Aircraft Systems through the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).

As of February 2021, Matthew Contreras joined our team at JEA as a Project Analyst. His primary responsibilities include 3-D Scan Assembly’s, Evidence Storage Management, Graphic Development, & Inspection Assistance. He previously graduated from Northwest Vista College, earning his Associates of Arts degree in Psychology, & most recently graduated from The University of Texas at San Antonio with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology. Mr. Contreras is now pursuing a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling to pursue a career as a Mental Health Counselor.

Jonathan

Jonathan Martinez graduated from the University of Texas at San Antonio in May of 2021 with a B. S. in Biomedical Engineering. He has a background in the oil and gas industry, and the automotive service industry. Mr. Martinez is a project engineer conducting vehicle and site inspections, biomechanics, injury analysis, evidence analysis, computer simulation, testing, and compiling reports. Mr. Martinez is a member of the Biomedical Engineering Society, and is certified through the Tire Industry Association as a tire technician.

Francesca Noriega graduated from the University of Texas at San Antonio in May 2021, earning her Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering with a concentration in Biomechanics. She previously performed undergraduate research experience involving Magnetically Responsive Non-Viral Carriers for Brain Tumor Gene Delivery. After graduating, Ms. Noriega began her career as a Project Engineer with J. Eftekhar and Associates. She currently performs Engineering and Biomechanics Analysis, Equipment, Site and Vehicle Inspections, Photogrammetry Analysis, Accident Evaluation, Computer Simulations, and assists testifying experts in Crash and Injury Causation Analysis and Report Writings.

Kaley Medina is an Administrative Assistant at J. Eftekhar & Associates. Her responsibilities include review and summarizing documents, scheduling and assisting JEA engineers in case preparation. Kaley brings 6 years of experience in customer service-related positions.

Thomas Vignola

Thomas began working full time with the team in October 2019. He graduated from Geneva College in May 2019 with a Bachelor of Science degree in chemical engineering, and has previous experience in diesel emission reduction systems from interning with a research and development company. Currently he assists case lead experts with inspections and analysis, 3-D modeling of crash events, reports, and court presentations.

Ryan Hadley graduated from the University of Texas at San Antonio with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Ryan is affiliated with the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE), American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), and certified by the State of Texas as an Engineer in Training (EIT)

Ryan is a Project Engineer performing Photogrammetry Analysis, Animation and Simulations, Mechanical and Field Investigation, Engineering Analysis, Case Evaluation, Research, Testing, Reenactments, Trial Presentations, and Report Writing.

Ryan has completed certification courses in the area of Accident Reconstruction through Engineering Dynamics Corporation (EDC), FARO, Institute of Police Technology and Management, and Crash Data Group. Ryan also has more than (4) years of experience in the Research and Design Industry worked with companies to develop projects that involve battery technologies, materials and manufacturing, and oil and gas.

Colin  Osborne

Colin Osborne from the University of Texas at San Antonio with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biomedical Engineering. While in his undergraduate, Colin received multiple awards for his work in orthopedic implant design including the Klesse College of Engineering Spring 2023 Best in class Award for the Biomedical Engineering Category. During and after completion of his degree, Colin worked in interventional pain management as a medical assistant aiding in the diagnosis and treatment of individuals suffering from trauma and non-trauma related chronic pain. Colin is a Project Engineer at J. Eftekhar and Associates assisting testifying experts with site and vehicle inspections, report graphics, reconstruction analysis, computer simulation, and injury analysis.

Tannen Eftekhar is the director and marketing manager of Eftekhar Evidence Storage LP, with responsibilities for storage facility management, evidence security, and marketing programs. Prior to joining Eftekhar Consulting, she worked in marketing and outside sales at several companies. Tannen studied Social Work at College. Tannen is a child advocate and has volunteered her time to CASA and PEARLS programs, preparing girls for life after foster care.

Colten Rodriguez graduated from the University of Texas at San Antonio with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Mr. Rodriguez has been with J. Eftekhar and Associates since 2013 and has learned the craft of Crash Reconstruction Principals and Technology. Mr. Rodriguez is currently pursuing his Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering with a focus in Design and Materials. Mr. Rodriguez’s focus is on quantifying the dynamics and kinematic of material structures for bumper beams in low speed collisions.

Mr. Rodriguez has developed the training course work and hands on experience at J. Eftekhar and Associates on investigation and reconstruction on over seven hundred (700) collisions involving commercial motor vehicles, passenger vehicles, motorcycles, bicycles, ATV’s and pedestrians. Currently, Mr. Rodriguez is the lead researcher and developer at J. Eftekhar and Associates with a focus on modern vehicles and new sensor technology.

Mr. Rodriguez is affiliated with the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE), and American Society of Mechanical Engineering (ASME). Mr. Rodriguez is certified by the Society of Automotive Engineers in Accident Reconstruction, the State of Texas as an Engineer in Training (EIT), and by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) for Remote Pilot of Unmanned Aircraft Systems.

Mr. Rodriguez has completed certification courses through the Society of Automotive Engineers in the field of Accident Reconstruction and Analysis of Passenger, Heavy Duty, and Motorcycle Vehicles, and Occupant Injury and Bio dynamics. Mr. Rodriguez also completed multiple Human-Vehicle-Environment (HVE) simulation courses for simulating and reconstructing crashes involving passenger and heavy-duty vehicles. Mr. Rodriguez has also conducted research/evaluation in Digital Forensics training allowing him to evaluate, reconstruct and analyze almost any digital media (i.e. Police Body Camera, Dash-Camera Video, Security Camera).

Greg Mulhern graduated from the University of Texas at San Antonio with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Greg is affiliated with the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE), American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), and certified with the Accreditation Commission for Traffic Accident Reconstructionists (ACTAR).

Greg has completed certification courses through the Society of Automotive Engineers in the area of Accident Reconstruction and Heavy Vehicle Event Data Recorder retrieval and Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service in the area of Collision Reconstruction. He has completed courses through Engineering Dynamics Corporation in the area of HVE-2D software and FARO in the area of Reality and Scene software. He has served since 2012 as a consultant and expert in the litigation areas of mechanical engineering, accident reconstruction. Greg has testified as expert in civil cases.

Russell Gill graduated from the University of Texas at San Antonio with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Russell graduated Cum Laude and is a member of Tau Beta Pi, the engineering honor society. He has been a professional technician since 1998 and is an Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certified Master Automobile Technician, Medium/Heavy Truck Technician, Advanced Level Specialist, Maintenance and Light Repair Technician, and Collision Repair Technician. He was a General Motors World Class Technician for 12 years and has had over 500 hours of training through General Motors Center of Learning. Additionally, Russell served as an Assistant Professor of Automotive Technology at Saint Philip’s College for 11 years.

Russell is affiliated with the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE), American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), and the American Trucking Association – Technology Maintenance Council (ATA-TMC).

Russell has completed certification courses through the Society of Automotive Engineers in the area of Accident Reconstruction, Heavy Vehicle Event Data Recorder retrieval, Vehicle Dynamics for Passenger Cars and Light Trucks, and Brake Control Systems. He has served since 2013 as a consultant and expert in the litigation areas of mechanical engineering, product failure analysis, accident reconstruction, automotive and light/medium/heavy truck systems and failure analysis, stationary and mobile machinery, equipment and structures. Russell regularly testifies as an expert in civil and criminal cases.

A graduate of the University of Texas at San Antonio, Michael earned his Ph.D. in the joint UTSA / UTHSCSA Biomedical Engineering doctoral program with a research focus on the age-related changes in the composition and biomechanical properties of bone. He received his Master's of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering with a concentration in Biomechanics from UTSA.

Dr. Reyes has served as a lead analyst and consultant in automobile, product liability, and premises liability accident investigation and reconstruction. He has also served as a lead analyst and consultant in the determination of injury causation in automobile accidents. Michael has made numerous presentations at national conferences of his research in the area of hard tissue biomechanics and co authored four book chapters related to the biomechanical testing and mechanical properties of hard tissues.

Dr. Reyes has completed the Society of Automotive Engineers Accident Reconstruction Certificate program, a six-course series focusing on Vehicle Crash Reconstruction Methods, Event Data Recorders, Passenger Car and Heavy Truck Vehicle Dynamics, the Reconstruction and Analysis of Rollover Crashes of Light Vehicles, and the Reconstruction and Analysis of Motorcycle Crashes. He has also received instruction in Frontal and Side Impact Occupant Safety and Computer Aided Engineering as well as Injuries, Anatomy, Biomechanics & Federal Regulation. He has received training in advanced accident reconstruction from Texas A&M (Engineering Extension Service). He also earned Level 1 and 2 Crash Data Retrieval certification in the downloading of automobile airbag and powertrain control modules (Bosch / Collision Safety Institute).

Jahan Eftekhar is the founder of Eftekhar's Inc. dba J. Eftekhar & Associates, Inno Tech Engineering Services, Evidence Storage at J.Eftekhar and associates and Inventive Safety Concepts. He serves as the principal and lead analyst for the companies.

He received a B.S in Mechanical Engineering and completed the coursework for M.S. in Engineering Science/Engineering Mechanics from The University of Tehran in 1974 and 1976, respectively. He received his M.S. and Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Texas at Arlington in 1979 and 1983, respectively.

Dr. Eftekhar has completed over (34) certification courses and seminars in the area of Mechanical Design, Instrumentation and Calibration, Vehicle Safety and Design, Brake Safety and Design, Accident Reconstruction, Computer Aided Reconstruction, Industrial Measurements and Control, Vehicle Rollover, Impact & Injury Pattern, Vehicle Seat Design, ​Low Speed Impact and Biodynamic, Occupant Safety, Motorcycle an Multi-vehicle Crash Testing, and Bicycle/Pedestrian Impact testing. He has been involved with numerous experimentation concerning vehicle dynamic and rollover stability, tire/wheel performance, airbags deployment/non-deployment, seat and sled design and testing, helmet impact testing, child seat design and testing, conspicuity and visibility at night, accessibility and wheelchair design, mechanical torso impact testing and elevator and amusement park rides.

Dr. Eftekhar is a Fellow of American Society of Mechanical Engineer and a licensed professional engineer in State of Texas.

Dr. Eftekhar is the past Chair of the Mechanical Engineering and Biomechanics Department of The University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA). He retired from UTSA in December 31, 2010 after 30 years of service for University of Texas system and Texas Tech University. He is currently serving as an adjunct professor of mechanical engineering at UTSA, teaching courses in the area of Vehicle Dynamics and Accidental Injury. At UTSA, He taught (41) different subjects, served as the department chair and founded and directed several organizations, programs and laboratories.

Eftekhar has also taught a large number of continuing education courses and seminars in the area of accident reconstruction, inspection and examination of evidence, design for safety, occupant safety in design, new and emerging vehicle technologies, event data recorders, and low/high speed collisions.

Dr. Eftekhar has been involved in over (100) designs and patents, with majority involving users and human interaction. He was a consultant to US Department of Defense and US Air Force, which he designed, retrofitted, modified (39) technologies. He designed vehicle components and participated in the design, test and manufacturing of several cars that were sold to the public.

Dr. Eftekhar has served as a consultant and expert in the litigation area in mechanical engineering, product design, biodynamic, accident reconstruction, and product failure analysis. During this time, he has evaluated over 2500 accidents involving vehicles, mobile and stationary machinery, equipment and structures. He has served as a consultant on numerous projects with the federal and state agencies, engineering and law firms, and insurance companies. He has testified as an engineering expert on numerous criminal and civil cases in the federal and district courts. Dr. Eftekhar has authored numerous publications and regularly serves as a member of peer review committees.​
